     1. What is the Potter's Institute?
The Potter's Institute is a Bible/Life Skills training program, established in September 2000 by the Potter's House Church located in Dallas, Texas.

2. Is the Potter's Institute Accredited?
The Potter's Institute is not accredited.  However, the institute is built on the foundation of quality that one would expect from an accredited institution.  We offer several Certificate Tracks for students who are more goal-oriented and desire to receive in-depth training in a certain topical area.

3. What is the mission of The Potter's Institute?
Our mission is to develop a disciple's character in knowledge and understanding of godly life principles through applied teaching for the betterment of their personal life, family, community, that God's Kingdom be established on earth.

4. What is the purpose of The Potter's Institute classes?
Our purpose is to provide personal spiritual enrichment and unity among believers through our classes and courses.

5. Who are your instructors?
Our teachers are Elders, Ministers and lay members of The Potter's House Church.

6. What topics are offered?  Will there be other topics?
We will continually add courses and Certificate Track Programs designed for personal spiritual enrichment.  Currently, our topics include:

7. What exactly is a Certificate Track?
A Certificate Track is a group of classes in a certain topical area.  If a student completes the required classes they will receive not only an excellent overview of their knowledge of the subject, but also receive a certificate of completion in 
that topic from The Potter's Institute.

8. Does a student have to take all the classes?
No, you can take as few or as many classes as you like.  You can take any of the Certificate Track classes, or take the individual classes that interest you to enhance your walk with the Lord.

9. How do I know which classes to take?
The following questions will help you to select the right individual courses or Certificate Tracks to benefit your 
personal needs:
  • What are my personal goals?
  • What do I believe God is asking of me?
  • Will I attend college one day?
  • How much money do I have available for classes?
  • What topics interest me most?

10. How long is each course? How long are classes?  When are classes?
Each class lasts one semester.  The Potter's Institute has six semesters per academic year.  Each semester is five weeks long.  Classes meet weekly on either Monday evening or Saturday morning for two and one-half hours.

11. How do you register to attend classes?  What is the registration process? Can I pre-register for classes?
Our registration process is simple.  Complete our Registration Form and deliver or mail it along with your payment or 
payment information to The Potter's Institute Admissions Office.

12. Does it cost to register?  What is the Registration fee?  Is there a charge for classes? 
Yes, our annual registration fee is $10.00 per academic year. The individual class fee is $30.00 for each five-week class.

13. What are the advantages of studying at the Potter's Institute?
Students studying at the Potter's Institute can expect the following:
  • Sound teaching that will help you to apply the Bible to your current life experience.
  • Fellowship in a smaller group setting with other like-minded believers.
  • Practical application of classroom instruction to help bring balance into your life.
  • Committed, compassionate and competent Christian teachers.
  • Leadership, life skills and entrepreneurial development.

14. Does the Potter's Institute offer Distance Education, Online Courses, Correspondence Courses, or International Studies?
No, currently we do not provide Distance Education or Online Correspondence Courses.  Due to Immigration laws and requirements, we are unable to sponsor International students.
